Living Your Yoga: The Four Signs of an Integrated Person

Healthy Aging

Studying yoga is a process of self-evolution and gradual self-knowing.

We all go through stages along the way, we shift, we move forward, we get stuck, we have breakthroughs. But in general, we move in two major ways in our practice: either toward transcendence or toward integration.

In this audio course, Judith Hanson Lasater begins with a presentation on the aspects of each of these two paths. She then focuses on a discussion of the recognizable four signs of integration and how they are expressed by an integrated person.

Each of these four signs is a stage of practice, and will be discussed in detail. The four stages are practical, doable, and when practiced, can facilitate your happiness and connection with others in your life, making your yoga practice who you are, not just what you do.

This Course Also Includes:

  • Judith Hanson Lasater: Dealing with Anxiety, Anger and Depression: We tend to think about yoga as the practice of yoga asanas, says Judith in this profound 2-part audio course. But yoga ultimately is about understanding the nature of the mind and consciousness. As such, yoga offers valuable insights into how to deal with the challenges of the human condition, particularly difficult emotions like anxiety, anger and depression. Judith shares her profound insights into how yoga helps us hold space and heal as we advance on the path of spiritual progress.
  • Recordings of Both Sessions: It’s generally acknowledged that many people only retain 10-20 percent of what they learn in a workshop. You will get the recordings of both sessions, enabling you to go back and listen to the workshop as many times as you like.
  • Transcripts of Both Sessions: Ever wanted to refer to a certain part of a course? Even the best note takers miss a point every so often. With the transcripts of the sessions, you can go back and refer to particularly important passages or clarify sections you were in doubt about.
The practice of yoga is fundamentally an act of kindness toward oneself. This idea is often forgotten, but not by Judith, whose approach is warm, non-judgmental and responsive to individual differences and needs.

I wanted to expand on my thank you. Yoga U Online has been an absolute lifesaver for me. I moved from a yoga mecca to a yoga desert. Instead of having my choice of teachers and styles and special workshops, I now have to travel an hour to take a class. The excellent teachers and interesting topics at Yoga U Online have kept me moving ahead in my practice. I am grateful for all the wonderful yoga you bring to me. Thank you.
